Helen is a doctor specialising in Public Health. She currently advises the Department of Health and Social Care on public health research. She has previously held the position of Head of Health at the Greater London Authority (GLA) and worked for Public Health England. Helen has been Director of Public Health in Westminster, a Consultant in Public Health in Portsmouth, a GP in Hampshire and has served as a district councillor. Helen currently holds non-executive positions at Forest Medical and Action on Smoking and Health (ASH), and is a member of the UK Faculty of Public Health.
