Frontline

Summer issue 2024

Welcome to your May issue of Frontline, which highlights the extraordinary breadth of our work and personalised care.

You might notice that we look a bit different: we’ve updated our logo and visual identity, along with a new strategy to tackle challenges like the cost of living crisis and the post-pandemic world.

In this issue you can read about Putting Down Roots, one of the longest and most effective recovery programs around. Gardener Trainer Rubyjo tells us all about how two years of tending a garden a couple of days a week has led to miraculous results for clients.

You can also read about the work done by our Bereavement Care Coordinator Catherine Hedges and our Palliative Care Coordinator Karita Razzell, who give clients the space, respect and autonomy that is so easily lost on the streets.

Lastly, we hear from client Laser, who highlights how different homelessness looks for women.

I hope you enjoy this issue of Frontline.
