It’s fantastic that you’d like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. As a Streetlink London Phone Line Volunteer, you will be connecting people who are sleeping rough to local support services in their area that can help to end their homelessness. You will be taking phone calls from people who are sleeping rough, and linking them to vital support services, to help end their rough sleeping. As a phone line service, it’s important to note that this role provides support to those sleeping rough over the phone, and not face to face. This volunteering role is a great opportunity to not only learn about resources and provision available to those sleeping rough, but to also play an incredibly vital role in helping to end people’s homelessness.
Please note we are particularly seeking applicants who can fill our weekday daytime hours.
